Book 3 Presale

My Why.

I'm a mom of 4 (of Hapa {Japanese + White} / AAPI descent), former professional race car driver, entrepreneur, and children's book author. I LOVE BOOKS and have always searched for children's books that my children can relate to and be inspired by.

I found it nearly impossible to find children's books about girls who race cars. Furthermore, it has been hard to find books where the main character is a strong AAPI female heroine as only 9% of Children's Books in USA feature AAPI characters.

Over 20 years ago, I began my pro car racing career and since then, countless women have graced the racetrack (before and) after me...yet children's books have not caught up to tell the tales of women in racing.

In 2022, I took matters into my own hands and created the Sachiko Goes Racing children's book series, which is based on true stories & lessons I learned being a professional race car driver. I have so many valuable stories & lessons to share, as my time in motorsports truly shaped me into who I am today.

Brittney was a resident artist at the Hive Gallery and had her first international exhibition in Japan during the summer of 2025.

A meticulous lover of detail, Brittney believes that every small element contributes to telling a character’s story.

Our Community

Our Cause

My passion for creating children's books is about more than just stories—it’s about sharing joy and empowering the next generation of readers.

For years, I've been committed to donating books and readings to Title 1 schools across the San Gabriel Valley. Seeing those children's faces light up as they read and ask questions is the most rewarding part of this work.

I also love leading author activities that foster their creativity and ability to dream big! This important community work thrives because of my incredible tribe of supporters.

By choosing the “Donate a Book” or “Sponsor a School Reading” options, you will help me make a larger impact. Your support inspires me to continue connecting, creating, and sharing with our future generations!
